MY DIET
( KEEP IT LOW FAT)
BREAKFAST :
Oatmeal with non-fat milk and a glass fruit juice or fresh fruit, toast with fruit spread and egg white (boiled or scrambled).
LUNCH :
Turkey sandwich with mustard, lettuce and tomato or pasta with steamed vegetables.
Fruits.
Soft beverages.
DINNER :
Soup (puree based vegetable instead of cream based), boiled.
Salad with legumes (beans), boiled egg whites, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower.
Low fat dressing.
Glass of non-fat milk.
SNACK OPTIONS :
Rice cakes, air popped popcorn or cut-up carrot and celery sticks.
Beware of the sugary, "fat free" snack food, as sugar will turn to fat if you don't burn it off.
DESSERT :
Fresh fruit or sugar free gelatine dessert.
